Comment: "Eagle water is awful and I've not seen any improvement that warrants a raise in cost.The
water is so hard it destroys appliances, so fast. All filters have to be changed in 1/3 of the time,they
should, always. It has an awful smell. We don't dare drink it.. even after boiling it, it leaves a residue in
the pan. It's one of the most commonly spoke of problems in our area. Don't hike the rates-they
haven't solved the real problems. If they needed bigger pipes to plumb to the new homes put that cost
of the developers-where it belongs but until the problems here are fixed, Please DO NOT vote for a rate
hike. "

Comment: "I do not think that Veolia should be permitted to recoup their investments from customers
by increasing rates. Maintenance to the water system should already be part of their operating budget. If
they choose to go beyond the scope of budgeted maintenance,the burden of paying for it should not be
passed on to us without prior authorization. Coming after the fact when the work has been completed
should constitute a violation of their contract with the city and with the customers. "

47 billion dollars I can't imagine why they would be allowed to increase our rates. Please do not allow

Comment: "I am opposed to the Veolia water company's proposed rate hike. I propose instead that
Veolia should be made to lower their already significant increase in rates due to their lowered quality of
water. I live in Eagle, Idaho where their purchase of Eagle Water Company has led to a significant decline
in water quality, necessitating the private purchase by many residents of in-house water filters.They
have done absolutely nothing to improve customer service, refusing to hear complaints by residents, and

have injected both water from the Boise water system and chlorine into the water making it undrinkable
for people and animals, and harmful to plant and wildlife as well. "

Comment: "I am responding to the request from Veolia Water to increase their rates to customers by
20.5%.They claim it is due to the upgrades they have completed due to aging systems and an increase in
populations.Those of us who work a full time job are seeing everything increase across the board
constantly and it is becoming difficult to keep up with all the increases. My wages don't increase and if
part of the upgrades they completed were to accommodate for more population,the increase in
population and their monthly utility bill should cover for these upgrades. It should not fall on those of us
who did not ask for this population boom to continue to see our utilities rise when our wages do not.
The increased revenue that all these new properties bring in for utilities should provide for a good
portion of these upgrades they decided to undertake. I have seen an increase in most all utilities and this
just makes one more to add to the list.Again, my wages don't increase just because these utility
companies ask for an increase. When will this stop?"
