Comment: "I am adamantly against the approval of the Veolia water rate increase.An over 20% increase
that commercial and residential customers will have to be responsible for because of a company that
monopolizes an essential life resource is outrageous and irresponsible. Veolia is a publicly traded,
French,for-profit company with a current net worth of over$4.1 Billion.Their investment to replace and
or improve their outdated, unsafe equipment or systems to provide a quality, essential service to our
community is a cost of business. Our community should not be responsible for the rate increases. Please
do not approve this request.Thank you for your time and consideration. "

infrastructure.This is a requirement not an improvement. Price hikes need to be provide the community
with progressive enhancement not maintaining the status quo of supporting a $20,000,000,000
companies annual profits and YoY growth projections.
Utilities are not profit centers! They are a requirement for sustaining life!"

Comment: "I am a small business owner in Boise. I provide mental health counseling services and have a
specialty in geriatrics,thus a high Medicare population. Over the last year Idaho Power went up,
Sparklight Internet went up, taxes on our building went up, and now water? $25 more a month is truly
harsh on a small business. Medicare reimbursements rates went down last year, so my margins are
tighter. I cannot pass these increases on to my clients.
I hope you will consider not permitting such a harsh increase on small businesses in Idaho.
