NEWS RELEASE: Written comments are being accepted on northern Idaho water utility's
application to determine if it should be a regulated utility.
BOISE (Dec. 5, 2024)—The Idaho Public Utilities Commission is accepting written comments
on an application submitted by Priest Lake Water, LLC to determine if it should be regulated by
the commission and be granted a certificate of public convenience and necessity.
Priest Lake Water currently serves 72 residential customers in the Marvin Estates Subdivision in
Priest Lake. It currently is unregulated and has asked the commission to determine if it is
operating within the commission's jurisdiction and if so,be issued a certificate of public
convenience and necessity.
Written comments are being accepted until Dec. 13, 2024. Comments should be filed through the
commission's website or by e-mail unless computer access is not available. To submit comments
through the website,please visit puc.idaho.gov and click on the "Case Comment Form" link on
the upper left side of the page. Please use case number PLW-W-24-01 when filling out the form.
Comments submitted using e-mail are required to be sent to the commission secretary and Priest
Lake Water at the e-mail addresses listed below. Comments submitted using e-mail are required
