Case number IPC-E-24-97 After just receiving a raise, we think they need to rein back and be better at budgeting. In our business, we must plan ahead and budget ahead because we can't get free money like they want us to give them. It is hard enough to pay our bills without these bills constantly going up. If Idaho Power wants to build all these transmission lines to send power to other states, they need to make a plan and work toward a goal. Also building infrastructure for three huge companies that want to come to Idaho, shouldn't these companies have to pay for it? It is sad that they think the only way to get Big Money their wishes is to put the burden on Idaho Power customers, who already struggle paying their power bills. In the case of the SWIP project Idaho Power has had 30 years to save up that 250 million dollars they want to contribute, so why does "failure to plan on their part constitute an emergency on our part"? Please, make them responsible for these kind of major decisions!! Thank you, Harold & Carolyn Dimond 3059 S 1800 E Wendell, Idaho 83355 1424 Highway 25 Jerome, Idaho 83338 ---------------------------------------------------------------
