RE: Case No. ASP-W-24-03,Aspen Creek Water Company rate increase proposal.
Please DENY the Aspen Creek Water Company's request for such an ENORMOUS increase in rates.
As a full-time resident and home owner in Fish Haven, Idaho, I would like to comment on the rate
increase proposed by the Aspen Creek Water Company which provides culinary water to my home.
I understand that rate increases are necessary as the cost of providing reliable, clear, clean water.
However, such a LARGE increase (305.87%) in a single request is extremely excessive.
The proposed monthly fee increase from $25.00 to$134.00 is not feasible. The Aspen Creek Water
Company has not provided documentation for any increase, much less such an enormous increase.
Proposed changes to Connection Fees seem reasonable as they are a one-time fee for new water
connections.
Please consider DENYING the request for such a LARGE yearly increase and negotiate with Aspen Creek
Water Company for a more appropriate and less significant yearly increase over a time period of several
years.
Thank You,
Ted Korgenski
