SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S APPLICATION FOR
APPROVAL OF A POWER PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH BLACKS
CREEK ENERGY CENTER,LLC; CASE NO. IPC-E-24-42.
On November 8, 2024, Idaho Power Company ("Company") filed an application
("Application") with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") requesting approval
of a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement("PPA")between the Company and Blacks Creek Energy
Center, LLC ("Blacks Creek").
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Commission Staff ("Staff') recommends that the Commission issue a Notice of
Application and Notice of Modified Procedure establishing a February 27, 2025, initial comment
deadline, and a March 13, 2025, reply comment deadline.
COMMISSION DECISION
