PAP Liasion with Public Officials Meeting
October 18, 2021: (1 Standard)
Bruce Perkins and Jeff Brooks of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (IPUC) met with NWGP's Compliance
Personnel, Operations Manager, Lead Operator, 811 managers, local gov authorities, Payette county Emergency
Management director and local EMS authorities at the New Plymouth office to take part in Liasion with Public
Officials training as required by the PAP. Subjects covered were depths/locations of pipelines, hazards of leaks
and ways to recognize them, signage, contact information for NWGP personnel/company, pipeline safety and
general information. IPUC personnel recommended a table top exercise amongst all fire/police/ems and NWGP
personnel to plan for an unexpected emergency and mutual aid assistance.
