Inspection Summary
Audit consisted of inspecting field installed equipment for the Nampa, Idaho inspection units. Records and
procedures for all Idaho Intermountain Gas Units were inspected in March 2021 at the Intermountain Gas
Company(IGC) headquarters in Boise, Idaho.
March 29-31, 2021: (9 Standard)
Met with IGC company representatives in the Nampa district office for in-brief and to begin field audit.
Regulator Stations 30046, 30050, 30054, 30055, 30062, 30065, 30067, 30071, 30072, 30073, 30075, 30116,
30120, 30121, 30122, 30123, 30124, 30125, 30138, 30142, 30146, 30170, 30172, 30183, 30188, 30192, 30193,
30197, 30199, 30203, 30204, and 30210 were inspected for proper operating parameters, regulator lock-up,
relief device operation, cathodic protection pipe-to-soil readings, pipe-to soil interface wrap protection, station
warning signs and right-of-way clearances.
14 casing-to-carrier isolation checks, four cathodic protection rectifiers, seven pipeline patrols, and 15
emergency isolation valves were checked for proper operation, observations listed below.
An IPUC Form 3 (exit interview) was performed following the district inspection with Colby Lundstrom
(Compliance/Audit Specialist) of Intermountain Gas Company.
Observations:
Reg Station: Failed lock-up Primary: 30050, 30064, 30124, 30125 and 30138, corrected on the spot.
Reg Station: Failed lock-up Secondary: 30050, 30071, corrected on the spot.
Reg Station: Failed to reseat relief: 30125
Low CP read: 30124
Leak: Secondary Pilot filter: 30124
