Inspection Summary
Audit consisted of inspecting Intermountain Gas Company's 2020 Records Audit against PHMSA Inspector
Assistant(IA) question set,49 CFR Part 192. This audit was performed by Idaho Public Utilities Commission's
Pipeline safety inspectors at the Company's General Office in Boise, ID. The records were audited together by
all inspectors and will submit audit reports,form and letters as required by their state.
March 15, 18, 22, 2021: (7 Standard prep)
Prepared for the Intermountain Gas Company's records inspection through review of the PHMSA inspections
and 2019 inspection results. Intermountain Gas Company's procedure standards were reviewed and compared
to the PHMSA Inspector Assistant (IA). The company's pipeline system in Idaho consists of transmission and
distribution lines.
March 23-24, 2021: (1.5 Standard & 1.5 D&A)
Bruce Perkins, Darrin Ulmer and Jeff Brooks of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission met with IGC's compliance
and engineering personnel at IGC's General Offices in Boise, ID to review records for the previous year of 2020.
The PHMSA(Standard Inspection Report of a Gas Distribution Operator) IA question set for the records portion
was used as a guide throughout the audit to ensure all areas were completed as they pertain to required
records. The field portion of the checklist will be used throughout calendar year 2021 at IGC's field units to
ensure compliance with field requirements. PHMSA Form 13 and IPUC Form 2 were completed. An IPUC Form 3
(exit interview) was performed following the inspection with Colby Lundstrom Compliance/Audit Specialist).
