Inspection Summary
A training program inspection was performed on IGC, KV and Track personnel at IGC's Jerome office.
8-10 Feb 2021 (6 Training)
On 8-10 Feb IPUC observed IGC, KV and Track gas crews being classroom trained, taking written test and hands
on training by IGC's training crew on Met Fits, Electro Fusion, Stab Fittings, Butt Fusion, Cutting as well as
destructive testing Butt Fusion and Electro Fusion joints.
Observation:
On 8 Feb, after the classroom training and the personnel went into the warehouse for the hands-on eval it was
observed that the pyrometer that was being used to test the heating element was out of calibration. IGC crew
then went and got a new one "off the shelf', no verification of purchase was provided.
