Inspection Summary
A construction inspection was performed on Das-co, a contractor for Intermountain Gas Company.
23 Aug 2022 (2.0) construction, typed reports
IPUC inspectors observed a Das-co crew install a 2" PE service and abandon a 1.25" PE service due to a newer
building being built on top of the 1.25" gas line. The 2" service was connected to a 1.25" PE service line behind
8783 W Hackamore Dr,Boise, ID. Job included boring,tracer wire, installation of a 2" saddle onto Aldyl A,butt
fusions, installation of 1800 EFV,purging,met-fitting a 2" to 1.25" slip coupling. IGC service techs were called
to remove part of the meter set to conduct pressure testing. IGC FOC Joe Del Torre and Das-co Supervisor
Austin Meyers were on-site.Das-co employees were quizzed on applicable AOCs regarding fusion and squeeze
off procedures. All procedures were followed.
