Inspection Summary
A construction inspection was performed on Das-co, a contractor for Intermountain Gas Company.
8-11 August 22 (6.0) construction,typed reports
IPUC inspectors observed a Das-co crew installing%" service lines to four residences that included line locating,
trenching, tracer wire, setting riser, backfilling, bedding,fusing, stab fittings, boring, potholing,jeeping 58' of
3/4" steel pipe, repairing anomolies and wrapping. Welded on 6"x 3/4" adapter, installed two HPSS's and
pressure tested. 8' of the 6" steel line had damage to the coating and an IGC crew removed damaged coating
and replaced with wax wrap. All procedures were followed.
