Inspection Summary
Audit consisted of inspecting field installed equipment and operator qualification for the Idaho Falls, Idaho
inspection unit. Records and procedures for all Idaho Intermountain Gas Units were inspected in March 2022 at
the Intermountain Gas Company (IGC) headquarters in Boise, Idaho.

Traveled to Idaho Falls and met with IGC company representatives in the Idaho Falls district office for in-brief,
JSA and to begin field audit.
Regulator Stations: 48759-RS-60781, 48759-RS-60779,48759-RS-60785,48759-RS-60786,48759-RS-60791,
48759-RS-60777, 48759-RS-60792, 48759-RS-59870, 48759-RS-59804,48759-RS-60789, 48759-RS-60793,
48759-RS-60773, 48759-RS-60333,48741-RS-59680,48741-RS-59856 and 48729-RS-60851 were inspected for
proper operating parameters, regulator lock-up, relief device operation, cathodic protection pipe-to-soil
readings, pipe-to soil interface wrap protection, station warning signs and right-of-way clearances.
One odorizer reading on regulator station 48759-RS-60793, eleven casing-to-carrier isolation checks,three
cathodic protection rectifiers, seven pipeline patrols, and sixteen emergency isolation valves were checked for
proper operation.
An IPUC Form 3 (exit interview) was performed following the district inspection with Will Lindsey(Pipeline
Safety Specialist) and Teri Tengaio (Idaho Falls District Manager) of Intermountain Gas Company.
Observations:
Reg Stations:48759-RS-60773 primary failed lock-up due to debris on diaghragm
48759-RS-60792 and 48759-RS-60793, not plumbed for lock-up testing
