Records and procedures for all Idaho Intermountain Gas Units were inspected in March 2022 at the Intermountain Gas Company (IGC) headquarters in Boise, Idaho. January 24, 2022: (0.5 Standard Prep) Prepared IGC Pocatello Field Audit. July 11-13, 2022: (8.0 Standard, 1.0 OQ) Traveled to Pocatello and met with IGC company representatives in the Pocatello district office for in-brief,JSA and to begin field audit. Regulator Stations 48721-RS-59814, 48721-RS-60092,48721-RS-60076,48721-RS-59067, 48721-RS-59719, 48725-RS-60091,48725-RS-59826,48725-RS-59831, 48725-RS-60052,48725-RS-60082, were inspected for proper operating parameters, regulator lock-up, relief device operation, cathodic protection pipe-to-soil readings, pipe-to soil interface wrap protection, station warning signs and right-of-way clearances. One odorizer reading on regulator station 48725-RS-59831,twelve casing-to-carrier isolation checks, three cathodic protection rectifiers,ten pipeline patrols, and fifteen emergency isolation valves were checked for proper operation. An IPUC Form 3 (exit interview) was performed following the district inspection with Will Lindsey(Pipeline Safety Specialist) and Phil Colburn (Pocatello Operations Manager) of Intermountain Gas Company. Observed meter proofing and differential testing on 2 meters: 48717-gp-73516 failed 3 differential tests and then proof test were performed and successfully passed. Initial test using diffential method failed due to inconsistent flow; used a prover pump to provide consistent flow to the meter then passed using differential method. Meter 48725-gp-73754 had 2 differential tests ran and it passed both times.
