Records and procedures for all Idaho Intermountain Gas Units were inspected in March 2022 at the Intermountain Gas Company(IGC) headquarters in Boise, Idaho. January 18, 2022: (0.5 Standard Prep) Prepared for IGC Twin Falls. June 13-15 , 2022: (7.0 Standard, .5 OQ) Traveled to Twin Falls and met with IGC company representatives in the Twin Falls district office for in-brief and to begin field audit. Regulator Stations 48517-RS-60135, 48517-RS-59854, 48517-RS-60131,48517-RS-60129, 48517-RS-60114, 48517-RS-60143,48517-RS-60138,48517-RS-59256,48517-RS-1111657,48521-RS-1111663,48521-RS- 1111662, 48525-RS-1111516,48525-RS-1111520 and 48525-RS-1111521 were inspected for proper operating parameters, regulator lock-up, relief device operation, cathodic protection pipe-to-soil readings, pipe-to soil interface wrap protection, station warning signs and right-of-way clearances. One odorizer reading on reg station 50156, nine casing-to-carrier isolation checks, three cathodic protection rectifiers, ten pipeline patrols, and seventeen emergency isolation valves were checked for proper operation. An IPUC Form 3 (exit interview)was performed following the district inspection with Will Lindsey(Pipeline Safety Specialist)and Brack McMurtery (Operations Manager) of Intermountain Gas Company. Observations: Reg Stations:48525-RS-1111521 had leak on inlet valve threads Patrols:48517-PP-13965 and 48517-PP-13970 need painted or wax wrapped,48525-PP-13951 needs foliage trimmed,48525-PP-13954 needed new stickers on carsonites and 48517-PP-14155 needs wrapped and wing walls trimmed so patrol is not resting on concrete Valves:48521-VLV-35997 could not be operated on the first attempt but was serviced and became operable.A new process for tagging the valves with their numbers was also observed in it's initial stages. Carrier/Casings:48521-CA-1116622, 48521-CA-1116701 and 48521-CA-1116502 need rework/replacement or bored under irrigation canal as they are not acceptable casings.
