Additional Comments:
IPUC inspector Perkins observed Das-Co a contractor for IGC install 4" PE main and 4"high-pressure
main extension and service lines to two houses at Franklin Rd & Star Rd in Nampa, Idaho.
Observations included: Trenching, line locating, safety equipment, shore box install, pipe wrapping,
pipe stringing,purging, tracer-wire, 750 PSI nitrogen pressure test and 200 PSI integrity pressure hold
on steel line and 150 PSI air test on plastic line , welding on side pots, tapping and plugging, tie-in of
steel and plastic mains and electro-fusing, Quizzed employees on AOC recognition for trenching per
Idaho dig line law and shading/cover of pipelines. All procedures were observed in compliance with
IGCs Operations and Maintenance Manual.
