Additional Comments:
IPUC inspectors Galli and Brooks observed a Probst crew a contractor for IGC install 4" PE
main lines with 2" service stubs for 4 new industrial buildings in Middleton, ID. Observations
included: safety equipment, correct trench depth, tracer wire install, partial bedding, butt fusion
on 4" PE, 4" T's and 4" to 2" reducers, quizzed contractors on applicable AOCs for butt fusion.
Pyrometer was expired on 06/28/2023 per the calibration sticker. However, IGC procedures
OPS 501 (MDUG Instrument Calibration Requirements List) allow a grace period of 1 year not to
exceed 15 months between calibrations.
