Additional Comments:
IPUC inspectors Perkins and Brooks observed an IGC crew line locating, dig up a 2" main and 1/4"
service line, pin the tapping tee, purge the line, cut the 1/4" service line, weld on a metal/PE transition
fitting and reattach the tracer wire for future install, weld the abandoned 1/4" line shut on both ends and
backfill the excavation with sand and native soil. All procedures were observed in compliance with
IGCs Operations and Maintenance Manual.
