Additional Comments:
IPUC inspectors Perkins and Galli observed Das-Co a contractor for IGC replace a section of 2" PE
main with 4" PE main between Hwy 21 and E Columbia Rd in Boise, ID that will be tied into regulator
station 40038. Observations included: trenching, line locating, tracer wire install, safety equipment,
calibrated fusion tool verification, butt fusions on 4" PE, bedding and backfill with sand. Quizzed
employees on AOC recognition for fusing. All procedures were observed in compliance with IGCs
Operations and Maintenance Manual.
