Inspection Summary
A construction inspection was performed on Das-co a contractor for Intermountain Gas.
IPUC inspectors observed contractors prep for a 4" valve replacement near the intersection of Chinden and Star
Road. Observations included: trench safety, safety equipment, coal tar removal, welding of two 4" steel end caps
for pups and OQ verification. Job will need to be re-engineered due to the configuration of the valve not
matching as-built records.
