Inspection Summary
A construction inspection was preformed on Das-Co a contractor for IGC.
IPUC inspectors observed IGC Crew and Das-Co abandon and divert approximately 200 feet of a 4"
steel main to remove an existing patrol near the intersection of Lone Star and Cobblestone in Nampa,
ID. Observations included: Bagging of adjacent house using IGC gas cart, tie-in/hot tapping x2, welded
on a blow down valve by Das-Co Welder Bierwirth, purging with nitrogen and wrap removal using
proper asbestos precautions. IGC FOC Russo and Del Torro were on-site. IGC QA Hall on-site. All
procedures were followed in accordance with IGC Operation and Maintenance Manual.
