A construction inspection was preformed on Das-co, a contractor for Intermountain Gas Company.
25 January 2023 (2.0) construction,typed reports
IPUC inspectors observed contractors install a 3/4" PE split service gas line from a 3/4" PE stub at 946
and 968 N River Mist Place, Star, ID. Observations included: trenching, backfilling, line locating, tracer
wire,butt fusion, EFV 1200 installation, stab fittings, successful pressure test at 90 psi for 15 minutes
and squeeze off procedures. Quizzed employees on applicable AOCs. Notified IGC FOC Russo of
improper butt fusion due to misalignment, uneven roll-back and damage to the pipe. Butt fusion was
redone at the request of IGC. FOC Russo was on-site.
