Inspection Summary
A Gas Rule and Public Awareness Program audit was conducted on Northwest Gas Processing
with compliance consultant Hope Shelton, Shelton Consulting.
February 16 & 23, 2023: (1.5) Standard Prep
Prepped for NWGP Gas Rule and PAP audit by reviewing IA Question Set against Public Awareness
Program, O&ME, Damage Prevention Program, SOPS and supporting records.
March 6, 2023: (1.5) Standard
Used the IA inspection program, eCFR,NWGP Public Awareness Progam, API 1162 and other
information/records provided by the operator to conduct a 2022 Public Awareness Program audit and a
Gas Rule Audit. All procedure questions in IA are in compliance with applicable code sections and API
1162 recommendations. NWGP was advised to ensure they're using agenda's/meeting minutes during
emergency response liaison meetings. NWGP will provide the first annual review for the new PAP
program in June 2023.
March 7, 2023: (1.5) Standard
Met with NWGP and Quality Line Locating (new contract)to review them process a one-call ticket.
Completed IPUC Form 1 and sent IA Post-Inspection Written Preliminary Findings to Hope Shelton for
Gas Rule and PAP audit.
