IPUC inspector Galli and Brooks observed Das-Co, a contractor for IGC install 3/4" service line(s).
Address: 7514 E Shields Drive, Nampa, ID
Observations Included: Line locating, Correct trench depth, safety equipment, verification of OQ
records, verification of equipment calibrations, valid dig ticket, PE butt fusions, tracer wire, EFV 1200
installation, pressure test at 96 psi for 15 minutes, squeeze off, mechanical fitting(con-stab), bedding
with sand, backfill and continuity test. Observed employee cut out a fuse that did not pass visual
acceptance criteria.
