IPUC inspector Brooks observed Das-Co, a contractor for IGC install 3/4" service line(s) in Star, ID.
Addresses: 8166 W Inspirado Drive
Observations Included: Trench depth, safety equipment, verification of OQs, equipment calibrations,
tracer wire, plastic butt fusions, line squeeze, EFV 1200 installations,pressure test at 98 psi for 15
minutes, riser placement, bedding, and backfill. Quizzed employees on calibration AOCs of fusion
equipment and procedures, squeeze times, and rough handling. All procedures were followed in
accordance with IGC Operations and Maintenance Manual.
