IPUC inspector Brooks observed Das-Co, a contractor for IGC install 3/4" service line(s) in Nampa, ID.
Addresses: 4871 & 4889 E Cotton Drive
Observations Included: Trench depth, safety equipment, verification of OQ, equipment calibrations,
tracer wire,plastic butt fusion, stab fitting, line squeeze, EFV 1200 installations, pressure test at 98 psi
for 15 minutes, bedding, backfill, line marking. Quizzed employees on calibration AOCs of fusion
equipment and procedures. All procedures were followed in accordance with IGC Operations and
Maintenance Manual.
