IPUC inspector Brooks observed Das-Co, a contractor for IGC install 3/4" service line(s) in Nampa, ID.
Addresses: 7806 & 7818 E Edison Way
Observations Included: Excavation, trench depth, safety equipment, verification of OQ, equipment
calibrations, tracer wire, plastic butt fusion, stab fitting, line squeeze, EFV 1200 installations, successful
pressure test at 98 psi for 15 minutes, bedding and backfill. Quizzed employees on applicable AOCs of
fusion and squeeze time and rough handling time procedures. All procedures were followed in
accordance with IGC Operations and Maintenance Manual.
