IPUC inspector Galli observed Das-Co a contractor for IGC install3/4" service line(s) in Meridian, ID.
Address: 4145 S Graycliff Way, Meridian, ID
Observations Include: Correct trench depth, line locating, safety equipment, verification of OQ records,
verification of equipment calibrations, tracer wire, butt fusion, EFV 1200 installation, successful
pressure test, squeeze off, bedding with sand, backfill and continuity testing.
Quizzed personnel on applicable AOCs of butt fusion and squeeze off. Contractor employee recognized
several fusions that did not visually display acceptable criteria due to uneven roll back. All observed
procedures were conducted in accordance with IGCs Operations and Maintenance Manual.
