Observations Include: Correct trench depth, line locating, safety equipment, verification of OQ records,
verification of equipment calibrations, tracer wire, butt fusion, EFV 1200, successful pressure test,
mechanical fitting(con-stab coupler), squeeze off, bedding, backfill and continuity testing. Quizzed
employee on applicable AOCs of fusion and squeeze procedures. All observed procedures were
conducted in accordance with IGCs Operations and Maintenance Manual.
