Observations Include: Correct trench depth, safety equipment, verification of OQ records, verification
of equipment calibrations, butt fusing(0), removal of tar coating, welded 3/4" auto perf to 2" steel
main,put grease and wax wrap on weld area, tracer wire, successful pressure test, EFV 1200
installation, bedded with dirt from excavation,backfill and continuity test. Quizzed personnel on trench
depths. All observed procedures were followed in accordance with IGC Operations and Maintenance
Manual.
