IPUC inspector Perkins observed Das-Co, a contractor for IGC Install a 3/4" Service Line in Meridian,
ID.
Address: 5143 W Canaston St
Observations Include: Safety equipment, trenching, verification of OQ records, UNSAT on back-filling,
locating all utilities, fusing,purging,pressure test, stab fittings and EFV install. Quizzed personnel on
squeeze times and fusion rest times. All procedures were followed in accordance with IGC Operations
and Maintenance Manual.
IGC contractor Das-Co installed service line over the top of electrical conduit and did not leave the
required 4" of separation.
