A fireside meeting was conducted virtually with IGC's Compliance Department
Topics of Discussion and Covered Issues are Listed Below
-Anything IGC wanted to discuss -New and updated regulations were discussed.
-Line strikes per 1 k trending and the efforts to minimize that IGC had taken- Line strikes were down per
latest numbers, more online advertising for safety was being targeted by IGC. IGC felt the DPB wasn't
warranted and was historicaly less effective than the actions they to take.
•IPUC communicated probable change in agreement type with PHMSA (shared what was known and
assumed) - September change considered looming, feds would take enforcement actions and IPUC to
lose funding
•IPUC requested a better understanding of when and how IGC determines that 3rd party inspections will
take place - Transmission, Projects, H.P., Gate stations, Reg Stations, Compressors was the response
-Rexburg fire evaluation update - End of March evaluation, May timeframe for results was estimated
-Clarification of HPSS leaks/issues found - protocol for IPUC to use that IGC prefered for best results-
Integrate with Field Inspections, Ride alongs with IGC leak surveys/Farm tap maintenance personnel
more often advertised by IGC
-Point of contact preferences for construction issues found updated- C.Lundstrom, M. Shoepp, S.
