COMES NOW, Idaho Power Company ("Idaho Power" or "Company"), and,
pursuant to Idaho Public Utilities Commissions ("Commission") Rules of Procedure 56
and 256, hereby respectfully submits the following Motion in this case.
I. INTRODUCTION AND MOTION
On May 31, 2024, Idaho Power made a Compliance Filing seeking to update the
previously approved customer surcharge to collect the incremental costs of distribution
undergrounding as part of the construction of the new 138 kV transmission line in the
IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S MOTION TO SUSPEND PROCEDURAL SCHEDULE - 1

Wood River Valley. After the intervention period expired with no interventions the
Commission issued Order No. 36297, Notice of Modified Procedure, on August 23, 2024,
setting a written Comment deadline of October 25, 2024, and a Company Reply Comment
deadline of November 8, 2024.
The Company's request was premised upon the anticipated completion and
energization of the distribution line in November 2024. However, due to circumstances
outside of the Company's control the distribution line will not be fully completed and
energized by that time.
Therefore, Idaho Power respectfully moves the Commission to suspend the
procedural schedule established for this matter until such time as the distribution line
completion and energization is reasonably anticipated to occur. At such time Idaho Power
will file a Motion with the Commission to reinstitute a procedural schedule and make any
necessary updates to the initial filing, if required.
II. CONCLUSION AND PRAYER FOR RELIEF
Pursuant to the Commission's Rules of Procedure 56 and 256 Idaho Power
respectfully moves that the procedural schedule set forth by Order No. 36297 for this
matter be suspended.
