SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF IDAHO POWER
COMPANY FOR AUTHORITY TO FUND ITS CONTINUED
PARTICIPATION IN THE NORTHWEST ENERGY EFFICIENCY
ALLIANCE IN 2025-2029 THROUGH THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY
RIDER; CASE NO. IPC-E-24-35.
On September 10, 2024, Idaho Power Company ("Company") filed an application
("Application") with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") requesting
authorization to continue the Company's participation in the Northwest Energy Efficiency
Alliance for the period of 2025-2029. The Company requested its proposed participation be funded
through the Idaho Energy Efficiency Rider.
During its October 1, 2024, Decision Meeting, the Commission approved Commission
Staffs ("Staff') recommendation to issue a Notice of Application and Notice of Modified
Procedure establishing a November 14,2024,public comment deadline,and a November 21,2024,
Company reply deadline. The Commission has not yet issued the notice.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission modify the schedule and issue a Notice of
Application and Notice of Modified Procedure establishing a November 19,2024,initial comment
deadline, and a December 3, 2024, reply comment deadline.
