IPC-TAE-24-03 ) FIRST PRODUCTION REQUEST OF THE COMMISSION STAFF TO IDAHO POWER COMPANY Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, by and through its attorney of record, Dayn Hardie, Deputy Attorney General, requests that Idaho Power Company ("Company") provide the following documents and information as soon as possible, but no later than WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2024.1 This Production Request is to be considered as continuing, and the Company is requested to provide,by way of supplementary responses, additional documents that it, or any person acting on its behalf, may later obtain that will augment the documents or information produced. Please provide answers to each question, supporting workpapers that provide detail or are the source of information used in calculations, and the name,job title, and telephone number of 1 Staff is requesting an expedited response. In addition to the written copies provided as response to the requests, please provide all Excel spreadsheets and electronic files with formulas intact and enabled. REQUEST NO. 1: Please provide the initial estimate for the following: (1)the number of eligible homes; (2) the number of homes that have participated to date; (3) number of opt outs to date; (4)remaining pool of homes eligible; and(5) the total spend for the current reweatherization program. REQUEST NO. 2: Please provide an estimate for the number of homes eligible for proposed expansion, the total spend, and delivery timeline for the expanded HVAC reweatherization option. Please separate the estimated pool by homes that were eligible under the previous eligibility requirements and homes eligible under only the proposed expanded option. REQUEST NO. 3: Please describe the risk of CAP agencies transferring funds before there has been an opportunity to spend them in the allocated region. REQUEST NO. 4: Please describe the metrics the Company will use to monitor the average annual cost per dwelling relative to the annual DOE average job cap. REQUEST NO. 5: Please explain what options and other actions the Company could consider in the event that the average annual cost per dwelling deviates significantly from the annual DOE average job cap. REQUEST NO. 6: Please provide a current list of specific electrical upgrades allowed within the proposed expansion to the reweatherization offering. Please explain if and how the Company might consider additional electrical upgrade options that are not currently included.
