("Company")has filed an application with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity ("CPCN"). Idaho Code 61-526 and 61-528. It will give the Company the authority to operate a water system in geographical location within the State of Idaho. The water system is located near Coeur d'Alene in Kootenai County, Idaho. For more details on the service territory, see the file"Legal Description of Land"under the"Company"heading of the Case. Upon receiving a CPCN, the Commission will designate the Company as a public utility and required to comply with its rules, including its Utility Customer Relations Rules. A Summary of Rules will be provided upon an issuance of a CPCN, to which the Company will comply with as a regulated utility. Commission laws and rules can be found on the Commission's website (puc.idaho.gov). In the Application, the Company requested to keep its current rates and fees for water service. The rates are necessary for the Company to recover its costs and continue to provide safe and reliable service. The application and other case information is found at puc.idaho.gov, select"WATER", "OPEN CASES", and finally Case No. SWI-W-24-01. Interested parties may submit written comments to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission.
