NOTICE OF VIRTUAL PUBLIC
WORKSHOP

ORDER NO. 36326

On May 31, 2024, PacificCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power (“Company”) applied for
authority to increase its Idaho jurisdictional revenue requirement by $92.4 million, or
approximately 26.8 percent. The Company proposes the first increase of $66.7 million, or 19.4
percent, take effect on January 1, 2025, and a second increase of $25.7 million, or 7.4 percent, take
effect on January 1, 2026.
On June 20, 2024, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of
Intervention Deadline. Order No. 36229. The Idaho Irrigation Pumpers Association, Inc., Idaho
Conservation League, Bayer Corporation, and PacifiCorp Idaho Industrial Customers intervened.
At the Commission’s September 17, 2024, Decision Meeting, Staff presented a
Decision Memorandum recommending the Commission schedule a virtual public workshop. We
now issue this Notice of a Virtual Public Workshop and direct Staff to conduct the virtual public
workshop on September 25, 2024.1
NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORKSHOP
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Staff will hold a virtual, public, informational
workshop for customers taking service from the Company on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25,
2024, AT 6:00 PM (MDT). The purpose of the workshop is to provide customers with an overview
of the Company’s Application, its proposed rate increase, and the potential impact on customers.

1 Although the Commission previously adopted Staff’s recommendation to schedule a virtual public workshop in this
case for September 18, 2024, public notice of the workshop was not issued as required by IDAPA 31.01.01.127.02
due to an oversight. To facilitate the provision of the required seven-day pre-workshop public notice, the Commission
adopted Staff’s recommendation from a decision memo presented during the Commission’s September 17, 2024,
decision meeting to reset the virtual public workshop and issue a Notice of Virtual Public Workshop, setting it for
September 25, 2024.

During the workshop, customers may ask Staff about the Application and how customers may
further participate in the proceeding. Representatives of the Company may also be available.
