Please provide any communication between the Company and NEEA related to the Evaluation or
implementation of Evaluation recommendations.
RESPONSE:
While Avista considers the above request to be outside of the scope of this proceeding — as the
future 2025-2029 Business Cycle bears no relevance to the Company's request for a determination
of prudence for its prior 2022-2023 program years — the Company provides the following
information in response to the request.
Please Staff-PR-I I(C) Attachment A (CONFIDENTIAL) for all email communication between
the Company and NEEA related to the Evaluation or implementation of Evaluation
recommendations. In addition to this communication, Avista and NEEA met on the following
occasions to discuss these recommendations:
• May 17, 2023 — Evaluation Findings and Responses Meeting (joint meeting between
Avista, Idaho Power and NEEA).
• August 3, 2023 —Discussion regarding next steps Recommendation#9
• November 30, 2023 —NEEA Cost Effectiveness Advisory Committee (CEAC) quarterly
meeting
• December 4, 2023 —Overview of NEEA savings reporting for Natural Gas
• March 4, 2024—Cycle 7 Funding discussion with NEEA,Avista, Idaho Power. Status and
timing of recommendations were discussed.
• March 6, 2024—NEEA CEAC meeting
• March 21, 2024—Follow-up meeting regarding Cycle 7 and recommendations.
• April 30, 2024—NEEA CEAC meeting
• July 31, 2024—NEEA CEAC meeting
• August 28, 2024—NEEA CEAC meeting
The Company's Energy Efficiency Advisory Group (EEAG) meetings in 2023 and 2024 also
included discussions with NEEA, IPUC staff and Avista present. Additionally, Avista's Director
of Energy Efficiency is a standing board member of NEEA and has been present for public and
executive board conversations.
