Please describe any changes made to the NEEA business plan in response to the Evaluation
recommendations.
RESPONSE:
While Avista considers the above request to be outside of the scope of this proceeding — as the
future 2025-2029 Business Cycle bears no relevance to the Company's request for a determination
of prudence for its prior 2022-2023 program years — the Company provides the following
information in response to the request.
NEEA's Cycle 7 Business Plan,provided as Staff-PR-10 Attachment A, does not include the level
of programmatic or methodological detail that is addressed in the Evaluation recommendations.
Based on conversations between NEEA and the Company, NEEA has stated that they are
confident the language in NEEA's Cycle 7 Strategic and Business Plans provides the flexibility
required to address these recommendations. Please see Avista's response to Staff-PR-12 for any
financial implications.
