Inspection Summary
A construction inspection was performed on Das-co, a contractor for Intermountain Gas Company.
7 May 2020: (1 Construction)
Observed DasCo crews pull a main under Eagle Road in Meridian. The crews fused the 6" PE pipe and pulled the
main under Eagle Rd in preparation for the tie-in next week. Observations included excavation, HDD, fusing PE
pipe and pull back with pipe. Proper procedures were followed.
11 May 2020: (1 Construction)
Observed DasCo crews tie-into an existing 6" PE main extending it down Chinden Blvd in Meridian. The
excavation was already complete. The tie-in included squeezing, cutting, and fusing (electrofusion coupler
fitting used)the main. Proper procedures were followed.
18 May 2020: (1 Construction)
Observed DasCo crew abandoned regulator station 40131 and clean up project site.Abandonment from the
main was already conducted. Observations included excavation and removal of reg station. Proper procedures
were followed. Typed the report.
