A construction inspection was performed on Das-co, a contractor for Intermountain Gas Company.
20 Aug 2020: (1.0 Construction)
Observed a Das-co crew installing a new%" service line at 1527 N Pineview Lane, Boise, Idaho. Contractor
installed the new line and a stub with Continental cap and go. When pressure testing the line, a leak was
discovered on the cap and go at the inlet and outlet. Fitting was cut out and submitted to IGC for testing or
sending back to manufacturer for testing. (Possible Failed Fiting Report)All procedures were followed.Typed
Observed a Das-co crew installing a new 3/" service line at 235 W Addeson St, Meridian, Idaho.All procedures
were followed.Typed up report
Areas observed during this project were: Excavating, line locating, plastic joining, backfilling/bedding, pressure
testing and EFV test.
