Records and procedures for all Idaho Intermountain Gas Units were inspected in February 2020 at the Intermountain Gas Company(IGC) headquarters in Boise, Idaho. July 17,2019: (2 Standard Prep) Prepared for the field audit of Intermountain Gas Company's natural gas distribution pipeline for the Pocatello, Idaho inspection unit. Reviewed operators operations/maintenance manuals, emergency manuals, operator qualification procedures and the previous years audit results. Completed PHMSA IA Form and IPUC Forms and worksheets for the inspection. July 20-21, 2020: (4.0 Standard) Traveled to Pocatello and met with IGC company representatives in the Pocatello district office for in-brief and to begin field audit. Regulator Stations/Odorizers 60001,60002,60003,60004,60006,60007,60008,60009,60010,60011,60012,60013,60014,60015,60016 60017,60 018,60019,60020,60021,60022,60025,60025,60042,60043,60044,60114,60128 and 60129 were inspected for proper operating parameters, regulator lock-up, relief device operation, cathodic protection pipe-to-soil readings, pipe-to soil interface wrap protection, station warning signs and right-of-way clearances. Ten casing-to-carrier isolation checks,four cathodic protection rectifiers,four pipeline patrols, and eight emergency isolation valves were checked for proper operation. An IPUC Form 3 (exit interview) was performed following the district inspection with Kelley Gorringe (Pipeline Safety Specialist), Kelly Crystal (Cathodic Technician) Jeremy DeGiulio (Valve Maintenance) and Sherm Schmidt (Meter Inspector) of Intermountain Gas Company. Observations: Reg Station: 60020 primary failed lock-up. Meter inspector replaced diaphragm on the spot. Casings: 827-00-606 shorted casing and currently in leak survey program, 827-00-501 shorted casing and being added to leak survey program Patrols: ACP 827-002 hangar touching pipe and needs paint, ACP 827-004 needs paint IPUC Form 1 Idaho PUC Pipeline Safety Inspection Summary JuIV 22, 2020: (1.5 Q m@ ' &0.5 OQ) Observed HCA dig at 4943 N 29th E Idaho Falls, Idaho, IGC crew exposed 16" FBE coated steel line installed in 2012, did a visual check,jeeped pipe and CP tech did a soil resistivity test and checked anode output, everything looked good July 23,2020: (2 Standard Post) Completed forms and typed report.
