Inspection Summary
2019 Records Audit Northwest Gas Processing
September 27, 2019: (1 Standard prep)
Prepared for the Northwest Gas Processing records and field inspection through review of the PHMSA
inspections Forms and 2018 inspection results. The company's pipeline system in Idaho consists of transmission
and gathering lines.
September 30, 2019: (3 Standard)
Darrin Ulmer, Bruce Perkins and Kyle Russo of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission met with NWGP's plant
manager at the Hwy 30 plant in New Plymouth, ID to review records for the previous year. PHMSA Forms were
used as a guide throughout the audit to ensure all areas were completed as they pertain to required records and
procedures.
October 1, 2019: (3 Standard)
The field portion of the audit was conducted at NWGP's Hwy 30 plant, little Willow Station and valve sites to
ensure compliance with field requirements.
Observations:
Went to take the rectifier reading at Little Willow and noticed the rectifier was off. When asked why, the tech
stated he must have left it off the last time he was up taking readings the previous month (Aug).
Noted casing vent needed paint and a few carsonites were down.
October 2, 2019: (1 Standard)
Wrote the inspection report, completed PHMSA and IPUC audit forms and attached inspection documents.
