A construction inspection was performed on Das-co, a contractor for Intermountain Gas Company.
31 Oct 2019: (1.0 Construction)
Observed a Dasco crew excavating an existing 3/4" Aldyl-A service to branch off of it for a new 3/4" PE
service. They squeezed the existing service, tied into it and pressure tested the branch service. They tied
it in, gassed it up and shaded the services. I left before they purged the services. Typed report
Areas observed during this project were: Excavating, Line locating, material handling, bedding, pipe/tracer wire
installation, pressure test, EFV installation and riser installation
