Inspection Summary
A construction inspection was performed on Das-co, a contractor for Intermountain Gas Company.
7 Oct 2019: (2.0 Construction)
Observed a Dasco crew excavating/torpedo for a new service. Used locating equipment/hand digging to
locate utilities prior to using backhoe. Installed tee off of adjacent service 1/2"-3/4" and installed new
riser, performed pressure test, bedded new line and used excavated materials as cover.
Areas observed during this project were: Excavating, Line locating, material handling, bedding, pipe/tracer wire
installation, pressure test, EFV installation and riser installation
