Inspection Summary
A construction inspection was performed on Das-co, a contractor for Intermountain Gas Company.
4 Nov 2019: (1.0 Construction)
Observed a Dasco crew installing a new 3/4"PE service. They trenched and bored this service line due to
the main being on the opposite side of the street. The bore crew was wrapping up when I arrived. They
bolted on a new 2" x 3/4" service tee, installed an EFV, bedded and shaded the line and pressure tested it.
They also installed the meter bar at the riser. I left before they purged the service.
Areas observed during this project were: Excavating, material handling, bedding, pipe/tracer wire installation,
pressure test, EFV installation and riser installation
