Inspection Summary
A construction inspection was performed on DAS-CO, a contractor for Intermountain Gas Company (IGC).
For crew listings see attached daily itineraries.
29 Jan-1 Feb 2018: (12 Construction)
The crew was installing a 6" steel distribution main pipeline.
Areas observed during this project were: Other utility location, Pot-holing, Trenching, Backfilling, Boring,
Welding, Bedding, Pipe staging along roadway/shoring, Equipment maintenance and Gas Line location.
Additionally we observed Quality Control Inspections personnel perform welding inspections of all welds and
X-Ray the welds of the section of the pipeline that was being bored under Highway 52 along Mill road.
OQ cards were checked and found to be up to date and all tasks performed were covered.
