Inspection Summary
A construction inspection was performed on DAS-CO, a contractor for Intermountain Gas Company.
11 April 2018: (3 Construction)
The crew was installing a new 2" plastic main line (#425-9125)to abandon an old Aldyl A main.
Areas observed during this project were: Other utility location, Excavation, Pot holing, Bell holing, Directional
drilling, Main line installation (tracer wire), Plastic pipe joining, Pipe/Coating inspected/removed, Welding, Hot-
tapping, Pigging, Pressure testing, and Backfilling.
12 April 2018: (3 Construction)
The crew was installing a new 6" Steel main line (#283-0428) along Hwy 16 in Emmett.
Areas observed during this project were: Crews were conducting clean-up on sections of the project that have
already been completed. County officials and IGC personnel met during work stoppage stemming from an
accident that occurred the night before. Work on project will continue tomorrow.
Crews were safety conscience throughout the projects.
