Dear Sir,
Finally we are seeing in the public domaine the cost to our health and to our health care system from
pollution resulting from burning fossil fuels. We have allowed power monopolies to avoid counting the
well known health costs of burning fossil fuel.
We pretend that there are no solutions to burning fossil fuel while raising the cost of solar power to
those who have invested in everyone's safe healthy future. We have allowed IP to make community
owned solar generation very difficult in Idaho while allowing it in Oregon.
We have allowed a for profit monopoly to provide their own study of costs to them and accepted that
flawed incomplete study.
We allowed them to build and underground a transmission line to sun Valley while charging low income
citizens in Blaine County to pay for the wealthy power hungry resort and part time mega wealthy homes.
Our Public Utilities Commission meet its obligation to serve citizens,the public interest.There is no
mandate to serve the financial interests of a power monopoly.
