Instead of passing these costs to customers, RMP should focus on reducing the risk of triggering wildfires and insulating their infrastructure from wildfire damage. 2) Since April this year, my neighborhood in Ammon, ID, has experienced 6+ power outages.This level of unreliability doesn't warrant an increase in rates—this poor record demands a detailed action plan to address this service issue. In addition, RMP's increase request appears to significantly outpace inflation. As a monopoly for its customers,the Idaho Public Utilities Commission must hold RMP accountable for the services it provides and demand value for the investment Idaho customers are required to make in the utility."
